Year 10 Cope Course

Dear Parent/Guardian
As part of the Year 10 Cope course we take the students out on a number of trips to help with their studies. Next week two such trips will be running and we seek your permission to take your child on them.
The first on Wednesday will be to the local industrial estate to look into health and safety in the workplace. The second on Thursday will be to the Jobcentre in Whitchurch to have a talk on the types of job opportunities available in north Shropshire, as well as types of training. In the past these trips have proved invaluable in helping students gain a better understanding of word done in class.
We would also stress that while out of school we are representatives of the school, and that the behaviour of the students should be exemplary. We ask you to reinforce this point with your child, as any misbehaviour will damage future opportunities within school.
